I am going to recommend a book I have not read yet.

My daughter just finished reading :" The Power" by Naomi Alderman with an introduction by Margaret Atwood :" Electrifying! Shocking! Will knock your socks off! Then you will think twice about everything."

My daughter is a pretty smart cookie, scientist type, and big reader and said she found it really engrossing.
I have yet to read it, but she ordered me a copy which I just got. She said it is about women getting the power to kill men and what happens.

The back of the book has one acclaim after another. Joss Whedon :" Magnificent. I'm agog. I'm several agogs. Smart and scary and sad but true. It's a classic, in the way to imagine it never wasn't there.
