I had some time ago read the entirety of the Economist (which I have always found suspect) articles re China in Africa

And I concluded that China makes available to the Africans the tools, funding, education, and technical guidance, and provides Africa a market, and makes available manufactured goods as well as factories etc, altogether doing more in 20 years than other outsiders has done since beginning of time. IOW, an ecosystem.

As to Economists charges of African corruption, and China tolerance of such, fact remains that Africa improved, more so in 20 years than …. Etc etc

Those articles are not as amenable to posting given that they lack “Show Reader” function that easily create a clip / copy / paste

The videos I posted are in the main consistent with the Economist’s take.

Am aware that there are folks who admonishes Africa to say ‘No’ to China Africa initiatives. It is a free world. For those African nations that say ‘no’, some say ‘yes’.

Let 100 flowers bloom, and compete.
