>>> I believe there are criminals everywhere <<<

very true statement and fully agree.

As to China all I am familiar with is from reading and movies - which give an impression but not the facts.

To me it seems that the Chinese people or better said the various ethnic groups that identify themselves with China where in great poverty and exploited by European and Japanese governments or armed forces starting in the mid 18th hundreds or before. - this is only an impression and not a factual declaration.

If true to my assessment, not extraordinary efforts where needed to lift the poor from below poverty level to a relative livable standard of life.

As I am not intimately familiar with the living standards of life in China and their 1.4 billion people I cannot add any additional accurate observation.

Read many negatives and saw many negatives in various videos of the way Chinese are working, they also worked in Israel in circumstances that no Israeli worker would agree to work.

Therefore the Chinese were brought in as well a Philippines workers, which IMHO is outright exploitations by the Israel authorities of those foreign workers (trough public bidding process to get the cheapest proposal for building a project) which I presume stay in Israel as their work environment is better that what await for them back home.

As a side comment my understanding is that 20 to 30 years ago same practices where done to Romanians or Ukrainians companies/citizens. As the standard of living in these countries rose workers from those countries stopped coming as they stopped to be "competitive"
