I was bearish on January 3 and over on Seeking Alpha I said my objective this year would be capital preservation as opposed to capital growth.

I wasn't making any point with the chart other than to provide information showing a series of lower highs and lower lows. I leave any conclusions from that information to others.

If I were going to make a point, I would suggest the SPX does drop to 3500 and if that doesn't hold up, then we have considerably more downside potential.

Since I was initially looking at a worst case scenario for the intermediate term (the swing trade sweet spot) of SPX at 3500, I would be looking to put more cash to work at that time via larger position buys than any buys I would make at this time.

But again, any point or conclusion from the posted chart, I leave to others.
