Why are some people worse than others? Why do things change from one era to another? Why the loss of VVV in Londonistan? The name Londonistan says a good part of it. The mayor is Sadiq Khan. So take a look at other Moslem countries and expect to get something much the same. Head-hacking is a Moslem activity for example. It's not so popular in Hindu people, or Japanese . Of course the French, English, Japanese and others in bygone times used head-hacking a lot. Maoris didn't just hack off heads, shrink and sell them, they ate the good parts.
But London isn't really all that bad. It has certainly lost global leadership. With Sadiq and Boris ruling the show = who is going to admire them? People voted for them. The average sort of person preferred them over VVV options. I prefer the Minister for the 18th Century = Jacob Rees Mogg.
The British Empire, despite the vituperation directed at it, made everyone British Subjects. So they were pretty soon getting passports and going to live in Jolly Olde Englande. Unfortunately, cultural norms in the hinterlands of the British Empire were not conducive to the good order and manners of London. Queues became a rabble of pushing and shoving. Crime soared. Meanwhile the British Disease [socialism and welfare] took over.
One of the nice things about England is the clear air = no more Battersea power station smoke, clean diesel exhaust, clean chimneys with no coal fires, cars clean too. It's really nice there. Not much dog poop either. In 1974 in winter, millions of dog poops would remain moist and cold on the footpaths, gradually being worn down and rained on. Disgusting. Now people mostly pick up their dog's poop lest they be fined and attacked.
There is much more VVV in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo than Londonistan these days. Switzerland, Luxembourg. A good indicator of VVV is GDP per capita. Wealth and good economies depend on people being civilized.
