Maybe. Because of the mass of military here + retired military, Oahu actually has a gun range that allows 50 cal shooting practice. They've had problems when shooters got a little loose and the bullets traveled well over a mile. I've seen gun collections here that look like Brad Pitt's basement in Mr. & Mrs. Smith....The locals are really, really big on hunting and guns and a vast number have military experience. One(of many) reasons Oahu is a non-starter for me. I can imagine some knuckleheads spotting 40 floors up in high rises in Honolulu controlling the highways and streets with 50 cals....Mad Max Hawaiian style.
