NETGUARD SIGNS STRATEGIC DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH COMSTOR
Award Winning NT Firewall Software Now Available
for National Distribution to Value Added Resellers

NetGuard, makers of the Guardian 3.0 firewall and Guidepost bandwidth
control software for Windows NT, today announced an exclusive national
distribution agreement with COMSTOR, a GE Capital Services company.
COMSTOR supports several thousand resellers located across the U.S.;
resellers authorized through NetGuard's Connection Partner Program can
now purchase Guardian for resale to their customers.

"End user organizations have a critical need for Internet security. They
also have chosen Windows NT in overwhelming numbers," said Barry Culman,
president of COMSTOR. "NetGuard's Guardian gives our resellers the
ability to offer the fastest, most secure solution for the Windows NT
platform to their customers," he added.

Culman also said that COMSTOR may develop a number of solutions built on
NetGuard's and COMSTOR's product and service offerings. "COMSTOR's
reputation and the quality of their resellers are essential factors in
delivering our message of Internet Connection Control to the North
American market," according to George Pappas, president of NetGuard,
Inc. "This agreement matches COMSTOR's reseller network and support
structure with the strongest NT offering. As NT grows, so will the
opportunities for all parties," Pappas said.

Guardian 3.0 is has the fastest throughput of any Windows NT firewall,
due to its exclusive MAC-Layer Stateful Inspection technology, Pappas
said. He explained that this lowest-level operation dramatically
increases throughput and maximizes security. "Guardian completely
protects Windows NT. Hackers can't see the upper layers of the protocol
stack, and what they can't see, they can't attack," Pappas said.

COMSTOR's Mohamed Bahkeit, Manager of Engineering Sales Support, said
that speed and security were key factors in the distributor's choice of
Guardian. "Its intuitive interface gives users access to powerful
security features, and its fast throughput will make a measurable
difference in the overall performance of the network," Bakheit said.

In addition to basic firewall functions, Guardian includes a Real-time
Connection Monitor, which allows administrators to view Internet usage
as it happens. Guardian also features on the fly access control,
authentication, and Network Address Translation. Virtual Private
Networking is an option.

NETGUARD is a leading provider of advanced Internet and Intranet
