BC, just for you. One of Brandon's economic advisors talked about the "liberal world order" ...

What Is the 'Liberal World Order?' Biden Adviser's Remarks Spark Derision (newsweek.com)

Personally I agree that "liberal" in this context doesn't mean modern day leftism.

Rather, it refers (maybe) to classical liberalism, where among other things power is only granted by the consent of the governed. In classical liberalism, government's primary role is to safeguard the rights and freedoms of citizens.

Of course, in this day and age, the phrase "liberal world order" can easily be misinterpreted, especially in light of the whole "Great Reset" conspiracy theory.

And to be frank, I'm not 100% sure that Brandon's advisor was indeed referring to classical liberalism. Maybe he did indeed mean to say a "leftist world order."
