That is an interesting slant by Paul Craig Roberts. Not sure how true it is, but worth an airing to test it's validity. One thing for sure is though, this Covid thing and this Ukraine war thing both happened just as it became obvious that a financial crisis was upon us anyway... it just guaranteed it would happen. The lockdowns were lunacy, pure lunacy, unless the desired result was to crash the world economy. The "West" went the full commie with Covid. As is going to war with the Russians. Unwise. After all that was done to ease matters after the end of the Cold War. The arms limitations, all the work that was completed to make the world a safer place. A sad set of developments.
