I agree with everything you said - except that I don’t like Mike Pompeo (imo, he’s like an ax - unsubtle, hits hard).

But the question remains - Is Donald Trump the only person able to address all those issues? Or, at his age, the best? I’m not saying he isn’t - he may be - but it’s something to think about.

For example, his legal team - Giuliani, Ellis, Powell, etc - clearly overpromised and underdelivered. Many of his appointments became a long list of disappointments. Or, what about his long standing fascination with “his generals”. Not a single one of them stood by him, in the end. Winning the vote is a must - but a Prez also needs to build some support among the elites. Important to have people who can get things done. Working for a Prez should be seen as a career maker - not breaker.
