It feeds the notion of communist domination and is aligned to Putin’s dream of putting the USSR back together.

As much as people around the world didn’t want to believe it after the fall of the Berlin Wall, nothing has really changed within the psyche of the country. The song feeds their notion of ownership of the sovereign nation Ukraine.

I thought the war was all about Ukraine wanting to join NATO? Yet, it looks like Russia is just fine with accepting two more NATO countries with far more military power along its border. Sorta calls into question the whole government phony narrative doesn’t it?

Now they have shifted to hurt feelings and embarrassment being the reason for the war. That begs the question; what are they embarrassed about? The knowledge that Ukraine would do far more for its people with the energy resources and land within its border than Russia?

That is rather embarrassing when viewed through the eyes of Putin’s mirror.
