i do not understand how you stop soros and other huge billionaire donors that favor DNC liberals.
State legislatures must pass appropriate laws. Personal donations are limited, but rich people have ways to get things done through NGO’s and nonprofits.

What makes plain old billionaires into oligarchs? When their great private wealth is used to influence elections.

In recent decades, more and more, every schmuck with a couple of billions to rub together wants to be a kingmaker.
