Big, big ego. Trump believes that “getting along” with a person is a sign that future cooperation would go well. Regrettably, the history of his presidential appointments does not support this. Almost all of them, including Mike Pence - proceeded from being the best people - towards becoming the opposite.

I hate to sound negative about one of my most favorite Presidents.

I doubt that DeSantis would agree to run as Trump's VP. But, who knows.

Historically, VPs weren’t very successful as Prez candidates.
