The term "good education" sounds to me to be entirely subjective and even elitist.

Defining "good education" is often a tool of power. The great teachers provide bullshit detectors and tools.

If education is defined as learning critical thinking as well as core skills (reading, writing, math, science language etc.) I am onboard. Reading classics as well as textbooks. Understanding how to evaluate information sources.

If education is defined as following Marx, Jesus or science according to Dr. Michael Savage Ph.D. Berkeley -- in the words of the Beatles - "you can count me out."
