Very inefficient and ineffective, in my view.

Sounds like a typical govt. mish-mash to me.

We are very rural and surrounded by forest and woods. We have one stand of cedar trees with native shrubs underneath them on our property. There is a 40' National Forest buffer of natural vegetation, including very large trees between us and the little country road. Otherwise the rest of our property was cleared yrs ago before we bought. When we do get blow downs from wind storms we add any new limbs to a natural fence we've created in the woods between us and the road. We don't burn anymore as we'd like to keep the air up here as clean as possible, but a lot of our neighbors have wood stoves, so it can get pretty smokey in the winter. We're served by Waste Management for garbage and have a 40 gal recycle bin that we put out every other week. We are not allowed to put wood products in that bin.
