We have a Canon DSLR and it's a handful. It's also very heavy and something I don't want to carry around. I do use it here on the river and in town once in awhile, but that's about it. We have a bunch of different butterflies in the area right now, and I'm going to get some shots of them with it, but yeah............you need to take classes or do a lot of reading in order to understand it.
