I stumbled across a prequel to the excellent Australian series Mystery Road and couldn't resist starting right in on it. It has the unwieldy title Mystery Road Origin and I am 4 episodes in out of 6. Fortunately, it turns out to be an "Endeavour" rather than a "Young Montalbano", i.e. it is excellent in its own right, featuring a great script, excellent acting, and of course, the amazing landscapes and great sound design we know from the original.

I have been watching two episodes a night but I bet it would work really well as a bingewatch.
