Hi all, I recently discovered this forum and have been finding it highly informative. A general question for the group: if one is hoping to follow Greenblatt's advice and buy those spun-off companies that have been or are likely to be subject to indiscriminate institutional selling, does anyone have a feel for when is the best time to buy? Is there a typical time span for this beating down of price to take place, or is every situation unique? I'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of a month, but don't have any experience to back it up. Thanks in advance.
