Inode,
We are in an extremely tenuous position right now, because if Dems are successful in institutionalizing it, there is no reason to think anyone else might be able to win future elections.
I don't think they have that much control over the elections. Most everything they do might tip the scales a few percentage points one way or another.

Take the recall of San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin as an example. The Democrats did their best to try and fight off the recall. They even intimidated pro-recall campaign workers, which seems to be expected given that Boudin got the backing of powerful labor unions.

And of course, Boudin is a major figurehead for the Soros political machine.

Guess what? Boudin got recalled 60-40. This happened in one of the biggest Democrat strongholds, where even "non-citizen voting rights" are being pushed.

They had every opportunity and every tool in the book to rig this election, yet they lost big time.

Same thing is going to happen all across America this November.

P.S. - One more thing. Hillary was supposed to win in 2016. I predicted this partly on the basis of the Democrats' ability to "conjure votes out of thin air." Boy was I wrong.
