So many contradictions in your post. I'm not as concerned about the future of fossil fuels.

A survey out today stated that 25% of consumers will plan to buy an ev in the future (NFI).

Still adding to USA/ N American offshore production and transport.

The survival of oil as fuel commodity depends exclusively on a lower price.

The ebb and flow of demand will continue, the Capital investments in bio diesel / bio fuel additives has not yet reached its contributory status to the overall demand picture.

EV issues are also commodity centric. Hydrogen options have legs of their own.

The world from where I observe it says "don't worry about it" Diversify into energy as a commodity matrix, the ebb and flow will do what its always done. All prices remain artifacts of some prevailing systems intent.

Let the variable Time dictate the shaping of your capital.
