Investment philosophy
Hi PHG

True, about short and long term traders. So far I have done atrociously with short term but when I have some real time to sit by a computer and watch Datek on line I will try it some more. I have been told to just try for $100 or so a day for a while, then more, etc. Last year I thought I was going to short term (but not day) trade Dell and Compaq for their splits. Instead I couldnt bear to sell them after the split and run up and I still have them (rather nice at the moment ). Nextel was supposed to be for long term but it has been so lackluster its hard to stay. Especially with the heavy debt and today's exiting of a key management person. If I sell I can be sure it will go up (VVVBG).
Dell is kind, it stays up even when I dont sell, but it went up when Isold too.
Prosperous investing to you!
