We have a worker shortage, and there are a lot of potential workers right across the border, but I suspect you wouldn't like it if he gave them all green cards.
As usual, run to straw men arguments when you can't defend the indefensible.

For the record, I support higher limited on legal immigration, but we need to get a handle on the situation first. Then, and only then, can we raise the limits.

Getting a handle on the situation, however, is not something you lefties want to do. That's not a straw man, that's a conclusion based on the actions of Brandon (and Brenda, who's supposed to be in charge of this mess), along with the "social justice warriors" who currently control the Democrat Party.
