Yes. My very simple point -- it's counterproductive to fight the endless intellectual religion-as-evil debate. I think Richard Dawkins would agree after his decades of head banging. "High IQ" persons grrrrrrr should see that progressives need votes to win elections. Respect for people's religions IN SYNCH WITH the First Amendment separation clause can claw back votes from the extremist Christo-fascists that keep gaining power under the Republican bedfellow tent. The battle is with theocracy, not people's personal beliefs under the law. Gotta unite and win this election. The old intellectual priorities failed. .
