So lets stop wasting our valuable energy lecturing the "faithful" about the the darkest history of religion and get back to defending the first amendment's separation clause that protects the religious rights of hundreds of religions as well as non-believers. Christo-facism and theocracy are very real developing threats from Republicans and their captured SCOTUS. That's where I believe we should direct our messages. My quite intelligent and educated financial planner turns out to be a (modern-but-practicing) Muslim AND a Republican. I can't explain it. These are people who should be voting Democratic.
