I don't think it is wasting our time, but also no one is lecturing the faithful, we may be lecturing the agnostics-lol, as it is history that tells where this can go, and is going, and is still having a negative influence on our society.

There is a reason for the separation of religion and state, and how can you root for the separation without knowing why?

So lets stop wasting our valuable energy lecturing the "faithful" about the the darkest history of religion and get back to defending the first amendment's separation clause that protects the religious rights of hundreds of religions as well as non-believers.
