Yes - it is not a new advocacy - I shared it because the paint video and abstracts about "cooling paints" prompted me. But even "do what we always do with paint" - change surface color - it a solution in part. This doesn't mean that we DON'T do other things - but this is low hanging fruit. Anyone with an active area of knowledge in the sciences can infer this. Roof top solar increases solar absorption of heat - people don't realize that - it could actually create rains in places like Africa - but this hasn't been fully assessed. But solar does make things hotter at ground level - there is no disputing that - it works by absorbing photons. That produces heat.
