People were standing in the windows of the collision floor. It wasn't hot enough to hurt them.
So you've gone from "steel can't bend at 1,500 degrees" to "it wasn't even that hot," LOL ...

By the way, that blacksmith in the video was "on the same floor" as that steel rod that was heated to 1,800 degrees. He wasn't burned at all.
