One you might like that I thought was very good is :"Barbarians" on Netflix. It is based on the true story of when Rome crossed the Rhine river into the lands of the Germanic tribes. They made a lot of trouble for the tribes, and the tribes united and met Rome in an epic battle in the Teutonburg forest. Rome lost and never crossed the Rhine again.
