So, a good week for the market (up 3.3% for the NASDAQ Composite), but a general loss for the bio-tech indices (-1.8% and -2.2%). The week’s big winner was AMBS, but it was driven by the news that its divestment of a subsidiary may result in a net -$42 million in potential liability. (At first the big winner appeared to be CLRB, but that was before accounting for the reverse 10 for 1 split. Unusually, it was in the black for the week, not the typical response of the market to these reverse splits. This was the third ten for one reverse split that CLRB has undergone, previous ones being in 2016 and 2018.) No big news behind the losers for the week. Would someone please put GNCA out of its misery?

The portfolios were mostly in the red for the week, though outperforming the biotech indices by more than a point. The best performing portfolio for the week was GENEGURU, up 8.4%, due to a 15% position in the third best performing stock of the week LQDA, ] moving him up from the 9th to the 6th place for YTD performance. Otherwise, not very much change from last week for the top 10 portfolios, overall, except welcoming back JACK HARTMAN to the list after a two week absence.,
