Lol! I’m litigating a relatively high stakes case against a woman lawyer. Legally, it’s nip and tuck. Either of us can win. I have a very deep pockets client but she doesn’t know that, so she undertakes a lot of wasteful activity in the hope that my client will bleat “uncle” because of the expense. Not going to happen. Caught her red-handed doing something highly unprofessional. She had hidden her action very well, but in a flash of intuition, I knew she was up to something untoward. I confronted her, she folded like a cheap suit. Admitted everything. In writing! When I let her know, in blunt, very blunt, very very blunt language, in no uncertain terms at all, what I thought, she replied: “you’re hurting my feelings.” The weepy woman card. Behind which is a poisoned dagger waiting to be inserted into my chest. Lol! Isn’t life fun?
