It's unattractive to have murderous kleptocratic Made in China thugs attack and conquer the lovely people of Taiwan. If China is so horrible that the Taiwanese prefer to NOT amalgamate, then China needs to be a more attractive suitor. Rape is not a good replacement for happy marriage.
Taiwan and the people on it are not the property of the thugs who murdered their way to being in charge of China. Similarly, Taiwan is not the property of Japan simply because Japan owned it in the 19th century.
It's not very often that USA and I experience a common conclusion. Even more so that Pelosi and Biden and I share similar views that Taiwan and its people are not the property of China.
It's so shocking that I agree with them, that I question my conclusions. Maybe China is right. But I don't see how.
China simply asserting ownership of Taiwan and the millions of people is unacceptable.
Maybe they have published a manifesto, as Putin did and has done orally many times over Ukraine, Crimea, trade etc. Have you seen such an argument as to why China's bosses think they should tell 6 billion other people to shut up, mind their own business and just accept what they say?
At this stage, it seems like a good idea to blockade China, prepare for Armageddon. If China really thinks it's a great idea to go MAD, let's do it. Putin and Russia might even join in = Russia could use some help to prevent China conquering Siberia as far as the Urals, and maybe further, after Taiwan. Cease the war in Ukraine, agree with Putin that Russia was right after all over Crimea and eastern Ukraine, cancel all trade restrictions.
With Russia, India, USA, Eurostan, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Whatnot versus China .... hmmm, not good for China.
