Wharfie, that's alarming. The woke doctor who wrote that article isn't even satisfied with the three month abstinence period for gay men donating blood. Yes, detection tools have advanced, and treatment for HIV has minimized its lethality. But HIV still remains incurable. There is no vaccine. If you're infected, you're gonna be stuck on a cocktail of drugs for the rest of your life, along with all of their side effects and complications. And of course, you're gonna have to be EXTRA careful about who you have sex with. Dr. Woke needs to weigh his virtue-signaling over "equity" with the real risks that HIV still presents to the public.
