Peak harvest. Beets bigger, better & a lot more of em than last Summer. Scallop Squash, Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Banana Peppers, Plums & Blackberries also showing quality AWA quantity. Blackberries just super. Fewer Zuchinni this year, but they're good. Apples & Pears next with stalwart Cortland Apple again the leading tree. Closely followed by big Butternut Squash. Delicious Sweet Potatoes close out the harvest in Sept. Neighbor gave us some of their Green Beans which don't grow as well for us. He's a CPA & she's a teacher. With 4 kids? Despite their substantial joint income, very glad to see they finally went all in on a large garden. People R waking up with prices the major, but certainly not the only, reason. Iso
