I would advise you to focus on valuing different businesses. Insurance is notoriously difficult to value.
I thought the same thing while reading your post, Harshu – if your mind breaks, and as long as that's not something that you enjoy, why not just look at something easier/more pleasant?
Of course, if you are fascinated by insurance, though, as I get the impression that you are, you should probably keep going as you do. One should always follow one's daimon, ones burning inner light. You seem to have the capacity to delve into a lot of reading, and kinda arcane stuff too, that most people don't bother with. That might be a good niche to focus on – less competition, and, like with having a trade, it is good to have a specialized skill like that. |
