<<I know a lot of people here were hoping for a blowout quarter with great guidance and are disappointed that there isn't a large pop in the stock price. I get it. We all want to be richer quicker.>>

RKnight, thanks for the information - it's very helpful to show Qualcomm's long-term prospects.

But in my view, anyone hoping to get rich quickly in this environment is living in their own world.
That's because, in the real world, things aren't very pretty - China has been under serious lockdowns
for Covid for a while, inflation is running rampant (partially because of that), and there's the
largest war since WWII that's raging in Europe with no end in sight. And the problem with
the war in Ukraine is that Russia is holding almost an entire continent hostage by weaponizing
their natural gas supplies - we've never seen that before and it unfortunately could be a
hard, cold winter for many.

If anyone is thinking about getting rich right now (instead of preserving capital) they should
pay more attention to the macro environment instead of just the micro one.

As some might be able to tell, I'm usually a global bull. But the situation in Europe has
scared me for quite some time. I'm probably one of the very few here who loaded up
on oil stocks leading up to the war and after it started. So, in some ways, fear can
be productive. I'm holding firm on most of my other stocks (which includes Qualcomm)
because I always try to have a three to five year view. But the IMF is calling for a
very good chance of a global slowdown going into next year due to Russia holding
Europe hostage.
