Shane:

I think anyone who bought AMAT expected the drop in orders for the next quarter and I do not think we will see a drop (if any) in the momentum semis have had for the past 2 weeks or so. The after hours trading of AMAT shows the stock being traded at $36 1/2 (up 50 cents) after first falling to the low $35's. Of course after hours numbrs dont mean a thing but I will be really surprised to see the momentum all of a sudden dies with the semis tomorrow.

The important factor is no longer the current quarter of for that matter the next quarter, but rather 2 quarters from now. One thing I get nervous about is when a company like AMAT says something like "...there is an uncertainty with future orders..." I rather have them either it is going to be down or it is going to be up or it is going to stay flat, rather than keep share holders in suspense and guessing.

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi
