Energy outperforms and oil prices rise... BRIEFING.COM Each of the main Indices has continued to move higher recently with the Nasdaq up 1.6%... The S&P 500 Energy Sector, thanks to Chevron (CVX 162.30, +11.86, +7.9%) and Exxon (XOM 97.06, +4.42, +4.7%). Both Companies reported better-than-expected earnings ahead of the open. Only one Sector Component trades in the red, Kinder Morgan (KMI 17.95, -0.09, -0.5%)... Also, WTI crude oil futures pushed back above the $100.00/bbl level for the first time this week, up 4.9% to $101.17/bbl.... M
