Even if Apple went to 50, I would attribute it to Jobs. I have money invested and I wish him the best. You see, I'm not impressed with someone who comes on stage wearing a turtle neck with his hands clasped as in pray and looking into the yonder. I've seem that before and it's all B.S. In fact at the last conference, he disappointed me because I expected him to show up in leather wearing only a leather vest open in the front with 100 lbs. of gold hanging down. My style is different. First of all, someone has to be very good to impress me. I'm not interested in types that are long on credit and short on cash.
I believe a corporate head can be innovative, aggressive, creative and everything else and wear a Brooks Brothers suit. You may think I'm a conservative old fool but I would of taken a more aggressive advertising and marketing stance. I think Jobs is nickel and dimeing his way through this whole thing. Deep in the back of my mind, I feel he intends to sell Apple or merge. My long range plan would be to make the OS so foolproof that it would compete with Microsoft. Maybe he is doing this.
I've had this Apple for 2 years and my next computer will be an Apple(99% sure) and I hope Apple remains as an entity and becomes a viable and influential force in the market place. Apple at 700? Maybe in 99.
