if the 'thing' is meant to be for special ops, and flying looooow, say tree-top, and the rotor fails, then it fails, a crash happens as would any 'thing' might, a guess

if I were in charge of some mechanised infantry or armour or artillery or HQ outfit, I would be concerned by the 'thing' because by the time I see it, it likely too late

the thing performs a role that the helicopter might not in a 'near-peer' conflict, at least not to the same degree of stealth / safety / assuredness, a guess

therefore good for decapitation first-movers assisted by inside jobbers

sort of a handy close air support between a drone and a helicopter in full spectrum domain slugfest
