You are a center right moderate Democrat who has flirted with the Republicans for years.

I am a center left progressive Democrat who thinks the Republicans are modern day Nazi's.

We share the same party, so we have to share the ideology, but the moderate wing of the party has refused to share and it seems must be wrested from them.

During the last 14 years the moderates have ruled the Democratic party we have been massacred and run over by the Republicans.

The problems we face with the Republicans cannot be laid at the feet of the progressives, we have had no power.

Although the moderate wing seems to think we are the problem and seems to lay their shortcomings at our feet.

He wasn't my first choice, but I think he was the best candidate we had to offer in '20, and I don't see anybody better today. There are lots of bigger mouths, but they wouldn't have/won't be able to get anything accomplished, which is really what it's all about. Many of them, like my governor, won't even be able to get elected; too progressive for the purple states.

Biden's covid bills, the infrastructure bill, and the gun control bill are all pretty progressive, as is the climate bill. What I don't like is trying to build a socialist worker's paradise in a 2 year time frame. Replacing all the organs in one operation is a good way to kill the body politic.
