Slinking? Hardly! With anyone able to track Pelosi aircraft via FlightRadar, that's not "slinking". Slinking is no tracking, no transponders, stealth mode.
Just as I was dismayed to find my Emirates A380 intended flying over Ukraine a couple of weeks before the Malaysian airliner was shot down going the same route in the other direction, it's wise, not slinking, to avoid even unintended blunders that might launch a rocket that destroys an airliner. And being a too-tempting target is unwise too as some hill-billy hot-head might decide to do what the Beijing bosses wouldn't do, as presumably happened with the Malaysian airliner.

He showed me the maps and explained the whole process.

Better to avoid such actions and land safely. No slinking required. Watched by everyone.

The outdated constitutional pretence that Taiwan is the actual ruler of China should be unilaterally ditched. Similarly, the Made in China constitution should recognize Taiwan as a Special Zone of Association, with freedom for Taiwanese to migrate to China, travel in China, invest in China, sell to China, buy from China, and even, if 75% of Taiwanese so vote, to be accepted as a province of China as a special economic zone.
China could establish Taiwan as an autonomous zone which could become the HQ of a reconstituted United Nations which has long passed its use-by date. It's absurd that India [over a billion people] has only the same vote as Fiji with 1 million, while jolly olde Englande has not just a vote but a veto, with only 60 million.
