He didn't have Trump to kick NATO and Ukraine around any more. He had to take matters into his own hands.
Trump was nowhere close to handing over Ukraine.

Trump didn't do anything to NATO other than to point out their flaws, especially their overreliance on Russian energy.

Brandon claimed that PooTin was scared of him, but the truth was the complete opposite. PooTin was emboldened by Brandon, especially after the disastrous withdrawal from A*ghanistan.

NATO only grew a backbone because they realized that Brandon cannot be relied upon.
