I respectfully disagree. My guess is that amat will fall tomorrow. Why? Management indicated that asia will dampen sales in 1988. Asian orders were being delayed which will have an adverse impact on 1998 earnings. Management also predicted that 1998 earnings will likely be slightly less than what has been predicted thus far despite the decent first quarter. This negative sentiment will likely result in a drop tomorrow.
