How about bringing in 100,000 North Korean "volunteers" to assist the Ruskies? They'd probably have a lot of defections, LOL..

Anyway, a few other notes..
I'll bet that 99.9% of people in the West have never been to Ukraine. I have. Multiple times. I've seen most of the country, east and south of Kiev. My ex wife is from Lugansk. Her parents still live there. Her brother is living and working in Moscow. I explored a potential business partnership in Yalta, back in the 90's. Luckily, in retrospect, it didn't pan out.
As far as I'm concerned, there are no "good guys" in this war. Corruption is rife on both sides. It sucks for the populace caught in the conflict, but, bottom line, it's really none of our (US) business.
Without going into involved detail, there are some woulda, coulda, shouldas in that region that might have resolved this mess before it got out of hand, but now it is what it is.. |
