Thomas:

---

Here's my sense:

Semis: (bullish) keep money on the table, add on weakness.

Semi-equips: (bearish) take profits over the n/t. "sell into strength" I might (big might) place my first ever short on some stock in this sector sometime over the next few weeks. Will have to investigate closely and see how market reacts...

---

Here's Briefing's take:

Semis: Could
take a bit of a hit from Applied Materials' cautionary comments but momentum in this
industry is very strong.

Semiequips: (on AMAT) While bullish tone of the
market may enable stock to shrug off report over the near-term, would use any additional
near-term gains to reduce exposure to stock
