| | | Jack seems likely shall continue w/ piano, and absolutely stays well away from ballet (the subject never even came up except in context of martial art).
Observation, that Jack's friends group are comprised of his age cohort and the older brothers of his friends, seemingly based on how Jack talks, what about, and how he treats folks in the entire cohort one-on-one and many-on-many. I think this noticed trait is to be encouraged.
The Coconut learned several lessons recently, or consolidated lessons learnt in the past
(i) do not procrastinate
(ii) do not think what one is not willing to broadcast
(iii) do not wager all-or-nothing
(iv) talk about anything with anybody at anytime and discern the worth / of merit from not
(v) pack light
(vi) save
(vii) depend on self
IOW, she is almost ready for college. She shall celebrate 18th birthday with her older dorm mates mid-semester, and they (5, including the nut 6) seem enthusiastic to celebrate. Her dorm suite mates are all self-described
- somewhat sociable - studious - humanities - athletic
... let's see how good the computer arrangement turns out.
The decor and furnish of the common area apparently already decided by the group. All to contribute, with tasks assigned. The girls shall shop together on one 'thing' for respect each, 'party' shoes :0)
Coconut as international student shall get access to the dorm suite first, three days ahead of the formal move-in date. We shall stay at a hotel nearby across campus green and use the time / flexibility to get 'stuff' for her dorm single room within the suite (4 singles and a double) including desk lamp, fan, small vacuum, and laundry bag etc.
Am tutoring the nut on how not to peeve off dorm mates.
