In one of my previous, exhaustively researfched Beethoven posts, I was about to type "Schiller's Ode to Joy", and then I thought, ~ no, it's Schindler's Ode to Joy, and then I thought ~ no, he's the guy with The List. But I still wasn't sure I liked Schiller for the poem; or Schilling, the Spice Guy; so I skipped that part, even though I'd studied it and could probably have duggen a copy out of my "record" collection's underwear. I knew I could count on you guys for the answer; and a boo-boo would be my first disaster. I'm certainly glad I was right. Or wrong. Oh joy, meine freunde.
