Looks like a strategic narrative change is being put into place.

While the Chinese Armed Forces rehearse off the Taiwan Straight, the USA msm starts to rehearse throwing Joe under the bus. Just in case the possibility occurs that Joe is embroiled in scandal that gets out of hand.
