Diving into the deep end of the networking business, Intel Corp. this month will introduce its first Gigabit Ethernet products. The Feb. 24 announcement in San Francisco will kick off a two-month product blitz. Among the products expected are a Gigabit Ethernet adapter for servers, a Gigabit module for the company's Express 510T switch, and new Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet routing switches. The above is a snippett from one of the articles linked in previous post. I jumped to immediate conclusion that most of the products were propbably going to be from the recently aquired CASE (i think) and a little from MRVC. But then, I noted the Feb. 24 announcement which seems awfully coincidental to MRVC's delayed Feb. 23 earnings. If the delay in earnings & the INTC annoucement are related, which they probably are not, I would imagine it would be a really good thing for MRVC. How? I don't really know exactly, but that's why I am loosely speculating on this forum! Looking for a little reason to back up my irrational exuberence!<VBG>.
