Sue: Non-liquid stocks are those with low average daily volume. These stocks also usually have wide spreads and very few bids and offers. The less liquid a stock is, the more likely it is being manipulated.

Some examples would be many of the stocks trading under $10 on the Nasdaq,OTC Bulletin Board, Pink Sheets, and other micro crap
oriented markets.
